The ten twitter pages I decided to follow consisted of bodybuilders, esport pros, and comedians. They all represent their brand differently and they are all not fake. The esport pros, such as Seth Abner and Ian Porter represent their brand by posting highlights and results from their last match from a major tournament. This make them ethos because it provide their audience with proof that they are doing well and are the best in the league. They aren't fake because like their sport they take their twitter page extremely seriously. The bodybuilders I followed use a lot of pathos in their tweets. For example CT Fletcher most famous lines and tweets is “I command you to grow” and in his recent documentary he explains that this line goes through his head every time he does a rep. This shows that he is very passionate about what he does. Most of this bodybuilders use steroids but don't use twitter to promote their workouts instead they use twitter to motivate others and provide jokes and skits to their audience. Dom Mazzetti tweets jokes to promote his extremely successful youtube channel. By tweeting a joke and saying if you want more watch the full video on youtube. He also advertises his clothing brand by posting pictures and videos of him wearing his clothes and this is called soft selling because he isn't directly advertising his clothing line. Even though these bodybuilders use steroids I wouldn't say they are fake because they aren't promoting their workouts but motivating and entertaining their audience is their primary goal. The comedians use a lot of pathos. They are extremely passionate about their career as a comedian and this shows through their tweets because their tweets always seems to make their audience laugh or grin. I wouldn't say they are fake because they are so passionate towards comedy. I would say they represent their brand extremely well because of their comical tweets.
